A dairy farm of GC "Urozhay" worth 4.5 billion rubles is being built in the Aurgazinsky district of Bashkiria
Radiy Khabirov visited a dairy farm under construction for 6,530 head of cattle with fattening production for 2,980 head in the village Ishly. This is the largest project in the field of dairy farming, which is being implemented in the Republic. In December 2018 it has received approval on "Investchas". The total investment volume will exceed 4.5 billion rubles.
Last year farmers put into operation the first stage of a livestock breeding complex for 1,200 head. The Republic supported the project by providing loans through the Regional Fund. Over the next two years, it is planned to build cowsheds for more than 5,000 head of dairy cattle, calves, milking parlour and other facilities.
According to Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of agriculture of the Republic of Bashkortostan Ilshat Fazrakhmanov, when the complex reaches its design capacity, Bashkortostan will be able to produce large volumes of commercial milk, and the Republic will have a modern competence center for the development of dairy herds.
Radiy Khabirov discussed with the management of the company issues of milk sales, state support measures and suggested considering the prospects for further development of the holding at one of the "Investchas".
"We have set ourselves the task of becoming the first in Russia to produce milk. We are an agricultural territory; we have strong agriculture. And dairy farming is one of the key areas for Bashkortostan", said Radiy Khabirov.
