A robotic dairy farm for 5 thousand heads will be built in Tatarstan

As it became known to The DairyNews, LLC "Miramol" working in Tukaevskiy and Nizhnekamsk districts of the Republic of Tatarstan plans to expand the dairy cluster in 2017-2018, with the participation of partners from Holland.
Currently, the company "Miramol" has 16 500 hectares of farmland, there is one dairy complex for 1400 heads of dairy cattle. In addition, there is an industrial park to accommodate the service and logistics centers of partner companies, as well as the site for the establishment of agro-industrial park "Zakamsky", with all communications (gas, water, electricity, access roads, 80 hectares of land).
According to the company, today they reached agreement with the economic Department of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the Russian Federation on support from the Dutch side of the project in attracting Dutch companies-suppliers, negotiations with potential partners, attracting specialists and experts to implement the project.
The company "Miramol" also announced the agreement with the Dutch farmers on the establishment of a joint venture and investment for the project of agricultural cluster, which includes phased launch of the dairy robotic complex for 5.000 heads of dairy cattle under Dutch technology and processing 200 tons of raw milk/day).
Investors are also considering the possibility of creating the genetic breeding center of Holstein cattle, genetic breeding center for reproduction of seeds, Innovative research and training center of the type of Dairy training Centre (DTC) in Leeuwarden, Netherlands, as well as accommodation offices and service centers of the companies-suppliers of machinery, equipment, agricultural machinery on the basis of the existing industrial park of LLC "Miranol" with the participation of Dutch companies.
"The implementation of this project will allow to create an Innovative Federal Agropark, which will include Federal training center with a pilot farm, agricultural Universities of the Republic of Tatarstan, scientific research institutes, representatives of agribusiness, developers of Hi-Tech that will have a direct opportunity to develop, explore and demonstrate on practice the advanced agricultural technologies, and to train new personnel and improve skills of existing staff in accordance with modern requirements of agriculture," said in the company. The project implementation period is 5 years.
