A system of support of export of food will be created in Russia

He noted that in one project relating to the export of agricultural products, the authorities plan to create a unified system of support and promotion of food exports. This project also intends to increase the number of exporting companies.

Dmitry Medvedev noted the need to develop export infrastructure and to support small businesses. He urged industry associations to actively promote the products of Russian agricultural industry on foreign markets. The Prime Minister stressed that since Russia is a member of EurAsEC, it has to coordinate its policy in the field of export of agricultural products with other members of the Association.

Minister of agriculture Alexander Tkachev said that in the framework of the project on the support of the export producers "will be supported by lending programs, insurance, participation in exhibitions, as well as compensation for logistics and transportation costs." "It will allow to replace imported products in the remote regions of the country", — said the Minister.

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich instructed the Ministry of agriculture to deal with complaints of the failure of the insurance of spring planting, with debts for government support last year and the request to withdraw the cost of insurance from a single grant. On the market there is fear that the profitability of so the medium-sized segment with fees of RUB 8.5 billion can be dramatically reduced due to the failure of regions to insure farmers and due to unavailability of subsidies.
