Agrocomplex will build two dairy complexes for 7 billion rubles by 2022
‘We plan to build two dairy complexes: in Peschanokopskoe district of Rostov region and in the village of Shkurinskaya in Kushchevskaya district of Krasnodar region,’ Kvashin said. — These will be complexes with modern equipment, an automated control system, with a high genetic potential of animals and an ideal quality of milk, which is required for cheese production. They will work on the principle of a closed cycle — this is when both the rearing of young animals and all production processes are located on the same site. Each will be designed for 2,800 milking cows and a daily production volume of 85 tons of milk. We plan to build them during 2021-2022 and launch them simultaneously. Investments for a full cycle for one plant will amount to 3.5 billion rubles.
Commissioning of complexes in operation will allow to increase production volumes. ‘Our plan is 1,100 tons of milk per day,’ Kvashin said. — In the next two years, we should get such a volume. Now it is on average at the level of 850 tons per day per year, which gives us the second place among raw milk producers in Russia.’
Alexander Kvashin noted that the development of dairy production is one of the company's priorities, and highlighted its three main areas: improvement of technologies and modernization of existing farms, construction of new complexes that will allow providing capacity for the development of processing and improvement of breeding and genetic potential.
The development course is bearing fruit: ‘We have already done a great job, which laid the foundation for today's results. We have 36,000 milking cows, and the average milk yield this year will be 9,000 liters. In addition, the best complexes produce from 10 to 11 thousand liters. At the same time, we have not bought a single cow on the side for 10 years. This year, we will increase the production of raw milk by about 40 thousand tons compared to last year: we will produce about 312 thousand tons of milk against 271 thousand tons in 2019.’
Among the strategic objectives of the industry, Alexander Kvashin named an annual increase in the herd by a thousand head due to its own reproduction and an annual increase in productivity by 3-5% to ensure its own processing with high-quality raw materials.
