Airat Khairullin was killed in a helicopter crash
The helicopter crashed near the village Laishevo in Tatarstan. The deputy was killed, the helicopter pilot and another passenger were injured, according to Telegram channels Baza and 112, as well as the Life publication. This information was confirmed by a source of RBC.
According to the telegram channel Life shot, rescuers provide first aid to survivors right at the scene of the helicopter crash. The aircraft's hull and propeller are severely damaged.

Airat Khairullin was born in 1970. In the 1990s, he started doing business, headed the dairy plant “Edelweiss-M” and founded the confectionery factory “Regina”. He founded the agricultural holding Krasny Vostok-Agro, which invested about 40 billion rubles in dairy farming in Tatarstan. Since 2008, he has been President of the National Union of milk producers (Soyuzmoloko), which includes about 200 companies from Russia, Belarus and other countries.
Airat Khairullin got into politics in 1995, becoming a deputy of the Kazan city Council. In 1999, he was elected to the State Council of Tatarstan, since 2003 – he has been a deputy of the State Duma, Deputy Chairman of the Agrarian Committee of the State Duma.
