Alexander Sayapin: if we know how many cows there are in Russia, we will be able to make more accurate plans
Sayapin stressed that identification like any other system at the implementation stage can be accompanied by problems, but by their nature they are quite solvable.
– For my part, I fully support the identification of the livestock. Problems at the initial stage are everywhere - here they can be associated with some misunderstanding or even opposition, as innovations are always perceived with distrust. But this is a normal situation – everyone was afraid of the introduction of "Mercury", but over time, work in the EVC system has entered into the usual course, – commented Sayapin.
According to the farmer, the introduction of the identification system will take place in a similar scenario: it will take about a year and everything will be put in operation.
- The introduction of a cattle identification system is the most important measure to comply with traceability. It is very important for strategic government decisions on the development of the industry or its sufficiency. If we know exactly how many cows there are in Russia, it will be possible to build more accurate plans, to conduct a more detailed analysis, – concluded Sayapin.
