Alexey Bogdanov: Belarus will get permission to supply milk powder to Algeria in the next few days

Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus Alexey Bogdanov, during the presentation of the rating of the largest dairy companies in Belarus, prepared by Soyuzmoloko and Streda Consulting, said that in the coming days Belarus can get access to the supply of milk powder to Algeria, The DairyNews reports.
‘You know that Belarus ensured its food safety more than 10 years ago, including in milk. We have a serious export potential and any development, both modernization and production of new types of products, is mainly aimed at export directions,’ the deputy minister said.
Algeria is the second largest region in the world for the import of milk powder. The last step left for Belarus is the approval of the veterinary certificate by the Algerian party. This, according to Alexey Bogdanov, will significantly expand the scope of milk powder exports.
