Alexey Gordeev ordered to integrate "labelling" into the system "Mercury"
"The Ministry of industry and trade, the Ministry of agriculture and the Rosselkhoznadzor with the participation of the Center for advanced technology development must ensure the interaction of the information system used for the experiment and the Federal state information system "Mercury". The results have to be reported to the government", - said the press service of the Government.
In the office of Gordeev it was stressed that according to the order of the Deputy Prime Minister, the Ministry of agriculture is assigned as the coordinator of the experiment on the labeling of finished dairy products. It was ordered to finalize the resolution on the labelling of finished products “including in terms of clarifying the provisions relating to the coordination and monitoring of participants in the circulation of certain types of dairy products involved in the experiment, the evaluation of the results of the experiment”.
According to the previously published document, it is planned to label milk, except raw milk, cream, milk powder and cream powder, butter, butter pastes, melted butter, spreads and melted butter-vegetable mixtures, milk fat. In addition, it is planned to apply labelling to cheeses, cheese products and cottage cheese, condensed milk and cream, fermented dairy products (kefir, yogurt, etc.) and whey.
Earlier it became known that Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev gave an oral instruction to integrate the "labelling" with the "Mercury" system.
In March the Ministry of agriculture stated that the Federal Agrarian Department and the Ministry of economic development agreed to include finished dairy products in the electronic veterinary certification system "Mercury" since July 1, the exception will be dairy products, which will be included in it since November 1, 2019.
