Alexey Lysyakov: the volume of deliveries of D90 whey to Russia will be significantly lower than expected
We remind that until December 31, 2020, D90 whey was excluded from the list of food embargo, which will allow manufacturers of specialized food to supply it from Europe.
The Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation proposes to allow the import of 3 thousand tons of whey for the production of baby food from countries that have fallen under the Russian food embargo.
"The entire volume is intended for the sole consumers of D90 whey in Russia - "Infaprim" and Farmalakt. These are the companies that have expressed a desire to supply the necessary raw materials", said Alexey Lysyakov, stressing that Russia is not expected to start producing whey with a demineralization level of 90% in the near future.
We wrote more about this earlier: currently, only the company that is part of the "Agrocomplex named after Tkachev".
"In order to supply D90 whey, we need to declare the desired volume for import. You need to provide confirmation of the intended purpose of the imported goods and provide the Ministry of agriculture with supporting documents after the final product is developed. We are waiting for the final preparation of all the necessary documents by the departments, after which we will be able to work on the supply of raw materials. It is quite possible that the volume of imported raw materials will not exceed 500 tons in the end", said Alexey Lysyakov.
