Alexey Romashov: the theoretical decline in the supply of dairy products from Belarus will not affect the market
"I do not have any information about the closure of borders or the introduction of any other restrictions on the import of dairy products from the Republic of Belarus. It all depends on how full the warehouses are with products. However, even if we assume that there will be restrictions this would not significantly affect the market. There will be no excitement during the holiday period, there will be no difficulties with this in August, and then all the issues with deliveries will be resolved, and everything will go its own way", said Alexey Romashov.
The market participant also noted that, despite the large volume of imports of dairy products from the Republic of Belarus, Bryansk region is well provided for raw milk, Bryansk processors prefer not only local milk - they bring it from different regions, including Tatarstan.
"Large factories buy milk not only in Bryansk, they even bring it from Tatarstan - 1000 km away", the expert said.
Earlier, we wrote that President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko set a task to increase the export of agricultural products and food products during a meeting on the development of the food industry.
