An ice cream factory for 1.7 billion rubles is planned to be built in Saratov region
According to her, the plant is going to be built by the company "Belaya Dolina". At present the negotiations on possible support of the enterprise in the form of the preferential loan are being are held with the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation. The official assured that in this case, ice cream will be enough for the population of the region, some amount of the dessert will be exported. She also said that in 2017 there was made nearly 6 thousand tons of ice cream of 120 titles in Saratov.
Answering questions of deputies, Kravtseva explained that in Saratov region there are a lot of storages to store only 95 thousand tons of vegetables and fruits. The need of the region is 110 to 115 thousand tons. By the end of the year, another storage facility is planned to be built in Balakovo district, in Marx district such an object will appear in 2019.
In addition, the Minister admitted that the region stays behind by the production of cheese and cottage cheese. If in 2017 600 tons of cheese and cheese products were produced in the region, in the first half of the year there were produced only 182 thousand tons of products in the region. "It's mostly soft cheeses and brynza. As for hard and semi-hard cheeses there are some plans for the next years, including the cheeses made of goat's milk", — said the official. "We have some hopes for the construction of dairy farms from 200 to 1200 heads", - continued the speaker.
According to her, in 2018 it is planned to start a farm for 600 heads in Rtishchevo district. In addition, in the future there will be a farm for 1250 heads in Marks district, in Atkarsk district — for 500 heads, in Dukhovnitskoe district — for 200 heads, in Romanovka district — for 360 heads. "The implementation of only these projects will allow producing more than 15 thousand tons of milk", concluded the Minister.
