Andrey Danilenko: Russia is the most promising country in milk production after New Zealand

According to Andrey Danilenko, the main problem of the dairy industry is a difficult process with stiff competition. Global players are constantly updating the production process, the expert said.

"It's very important to be competitive. The Belarusians invest rather serious money into the dairy industry, and we are with them in the single economic space," said Danilenko.

The expert also noted that the industry needs to overcome falsification, the punishment for the producers of falsified products, according to Danilenko, is too little. Meanwhile, there is a constant information war against milk, in which the industry needs to educate consumers, young people, who don’t realize their benefits from milk.

"We did an analysis and came to the conclusion that Russia is the most promising country from the point of view of the dairy industry. We occupy the second position after New Zealand, where cows graze all year round, but their growth potential has been exhausted while ours is still ahead," said Danilenko.
