Animal breeders of Moscow region received about 1.8 billion rubles of support
‘To date, state support in the field of animal husbandry in Moscow region has been provided in the amount of 1.8 billion rubles. This is about 90% of the limits. In particular, subsidies have been allocated to stimulate milk production, dairy farming in farms, and breeding livestock,’ said Sergey Voskresensky, Minister of Agriculture and Food of Moscow region.
According to the minister, livestock industry is the most difficult in agro-industrial complex and is a priority for Moscow region.
‘Support is needed at the most serious level. The result of providing support to livestock farms in the region is keeping the pedigree stock of farm animals, ensuring an increase in the volume of gross milk production,’ said Voskresensky.
He added that now payments are available to all types of livestock enterprises – both large and small agribusiness.
