Plant-based alternatives still account for only 10% of the European dairy market. The annual increase in consumption is about 16% per year.
‘Is there a future for the plant-based segment? Yes, for sure. But taking into account the volume of production of Russian traditional milk - which is also growing in consumption – plant-based milk is not a threat to traditional milk,’ said Anna Avchukhova, Marketing Director of LLC SIG Kombiblock of the Russian Federation and the CIS countries, during the program "Weather Forecast".
