Antibiotics discovered in the Ukrainian cheese
On 10 June, Rosselkhoznadzor reported, that antibiotics were found in the hard cheeses produced by “Gadyachsir” and “Prometey”.
On 10 June, Rosselkhoznadzor reported, that antibiotics were found in the hard cheeses produced by “Gadyachsir” and “Prometey”. Oxytetracycline was detected in “Prometey” (a part of Milkiland company) products,while Tetracycline was detected in “Gadyachsir” products.
“To the producers of the named products, an enhanced laboratory control regime is to be imposed” – it is said in the Rosselkhoznadzor’s document. The office clarified, that since May 27st , each batch of products intended for sale on the Russian market must be obligatorily checked. Previously, the inspection was carried selectively.
If no violations are detected within three months ,the enterprises will be excluded from the enhanced control list.
