Arkady Ponomarev took the post of Chairman of TC470
As reported in the Dairy Union of Russia, the order of Rosstandart № 243 of February 15, 2019, introduces some changes in the management TC 470. In particular, Doctor of technical Sciences, Professor, Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Arkady Ponomarev was appointed Chairman of the Technical Committee "Milk and dairy products".
We will remind that the industry Technical Committee "Milk and dairy products" is located on the site of the Russian Union of dairy industry enterprises (Dairy Union of Russia).
The TC includes major participants of the dairy market, industry institutions. As it became known, the appointment of the Chairman of the TC470 was held without the participation of the responsible Secretariat.
- Arkady Nikolaevich is a specialist in the field, he always takes part in the fate of the TC, I hope for further fruitful cooperation, - said the Executive Secretary of the TC470 Larisa Abdullayeva. The expert stressed that the Technical Committee in any case will continue stable work aimed at the development of the industry.
Earlier, during the Congress of Soyuzmoloko at the exhibition "AgroFarm" there was expressed the opinion that the TC site should be moved to the VNIMI (All-Russian research Institute of dairy industry). The head of the Rosselkhoznadzor Sergey Dankvert spoke against this, stressing that VNIMI can be considered a commercial structure that performs private orders.
We will remind that the Committee operates on the basis of the Russian Union of dairy industry enterprises since 2005. From that time until February 2019, Vladimir Labinov was the permanent Chairman of the TC. In 2017 the TC 470 included 24 organizations (the composition of the Committee is changing, new members on the basis of their statements and decisions of the Committee are included by orders of Rosstandart). The technical Committee consists of leading industry research organizations; they are also the main developers of standards– VNIMI (All-Russian research Institute of dairy industry), VNIIMS (All-Russian research Institute of butter and cheese making), VNIHI (All-Russian research Institute of refrigeration industry), Yaroslavl state Institute of quality of raw materials and food products, Research Institute of Baby Food. In addition, members of the TC are Rospotrebnadzor, Rosselkhoznadzor, Ministry of agriculture of Russia, Rosrezerv (Institute of storage problems – Research Institute of applied chemistry Rosrezerv), Institute of nutrition. Active members of the TC are representatives of the companies Molvest, Wimm-Bill-Dann (PepsiCo), Danone, Hochland, APK Nepetsino (Office of the President of Russia, joined the TC 470 in 2017), DuPont (production of starter cultures). Certification bodies are also represented in TC 470 – Rostest Moscow and LLC Sootvetstvie (Compliance) (joined the TC 470 in 2017).
