According to General Director of Soyuzmoloko Artem Belov, over the past 6 years, consumption of cheeses, excluding products produced using cheese technology, has increased by about 26%. The expert said this during the event "Cheese sessions: microbiology, production and technology," reports The DairyNews.
‘At the same time, the average annual growth rate over the past 3 years is about 7%, which is even higher than the average rate over the past 10 years. In 2021, the growth rate has somewhat subsided, but the average annual rate is quite high, in terms of consumption, we are reaching the parameters of 800 thousand tons of classic cheeses per year,’ Artem Belov said.
