Artem Belov: demand for milk and milk production is growing steadily

"The increased demand under import substitution and the increased state support under the shortage of raw materials provided a favorable price environment and a significant increase in marketable milk", - said the expert.

According to Artem Belov, the main growth was not due to the construction of new complexes, but due to increased efficiency.

"Processors have also won seriously. This is related to the moments of import substitution when domestic enterprises have replaced importers from the EU countries etc. We can't say that only producers won. At the same time, the volume of imports is steadily decreasing, and the level of business development creates all conditions for the development of export potential", - said the representative of Soyuzmoloko, stressing that Russian producers have significant potential to increase supplies, especially to China and South-East Asia. 

"The global market provides very good opportunities. Why can't we be on the site of Belarus?"- asked a question Mr. Belov, noting that the Russian Federation develops the supply of ice cream and cheese products.
