"We still have a serious import dependence on milk powder, butter, and whey. Despite the growth in raw milk production, the share of imports in traditional milk-intensive categories remains at the level of 27-50%", said Artem Belov, General Director of Soyuzmoloko, during the webinar.
"We may have an increase in consumption, but taking into account the situation in terms of income, this is not a stable trend. A more promising direction is the production of exchange - traded products and exports", said Artem Belov, stressing that the state should support investors in these categories.
