Russia has a chance to show good dynamics in the sector of raw milk production, said in an interview with The DairyNews, the Executive Director of Soyuzmoloko Artem Belov.
"I think that in Russia there is a very good chance to show good dynamics in the commodity segment. One of the big advantages of the last 5-7 years was the fact that in our sector there are anchor investors. Moreover, there are large anchor investors and the average, and even small farmers who are trying to replicate their experience, to share experiences," said Artem Belov.
According to the expert, in Russia there is a business that is ready to make a breakthrough, and in the next 5-7 years it will really do it.
"The second group of investors that can be a potential driver of commodity segment is a major foreign investors. Both raw milk producers and processors," said Artem Belov.
