As of mid-December 2018 Russia exported agricultural products at 24.3 billion dollars. This was announced at the expanded meeting in the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation, reports The DairyNews with reference to the press service of the Ministry.
This result exceeded last year's figures by 20%. The increase was achieved due to increasing the supply of fish and seafood, meat and dairy products, food and processing industry products.
At the same time, according to expert estimates, next year the export of oil and fat industry products may grow by a quarter and amount to about $4 billion dollars. In addition, the Ministry of agriculture expects significant growth in the supply of meat and dairy products. Next year, exports in this direction may increase by 73%, exceeding $1.1 billion dollars.
