‘I am already producing and selling milk at a loss,’ the expert said. We have our own feed so far, the animals are fed with last year's reserves and straw. It is always necessary to have reserves for two years, especially in the current situation, when a bad crop of roughage is expected due to the heat and lack of rain. In addition, this means that they will also become much more expensive, which will also ultimately affect the cost of milk.

LLC Khmelevskoe has 5100 hectares of agricultural land in the village Lesnaya Khmelevka, as well as its own production, where 10 tons of milk is processed per day. Milk, ryazhenka, sour cream, cheese from our own dairy plant are supplied to retail chains and supermarkets in Dimitrovgrad.

The weighted average price of milk in Russia remained at the level of 26.32 rubles per 1 liter, which is 4.2% more than at the end of June 2020. Prices for raw milk decreased in Altai, Samara and Ulyanovsk regions. The increase in milk prices was observed in Yaroslavl and Novosibirsk regions.
