Belarus has introduced state regulation of prices for meat and milk for 90 days
The corresponding decision is fixed by the decree of MART, says the message of the national legal Internet portal. In accordance with the document, a list of socially important goods with regulated prices is established.
The list includes: fresh fish (carp family), butter, wheat flour, sunflower and rapeseed oil, salt, meat (beef, pork, meat of chickens and broiler chickens), cuts and large-sized semi-finished products, cooked sausage products, fresh chicken eggs, canned meat, canned fish, milk powder, pasteurized cow milk, kefir made of cow milk, sour cream, cottage cheese, drinking water (packaged in containers), toilet soap, solid soap, household soap, matches, sanitary pads for women, diapers, toilet paper.
State regulation will be implemented through the introduction of a marginal level of profitability, which is used to determine the amount of profit to be included in manufacturers' selling prices for socially important goods.
In addition, the Agency has determined the maximum margin of the importer for socially important goods in the amount of 10% and maximum trade margins (including wholesale margin) to the selling prices of producers (importers) for socially important goods.
The formation of prices for socially important goods is made taking into account market conditions, but not above the established restrictions, the document says.
