Belorussia plans to defend its dairy products’ quality in EEC Court
This was announced by Belorussian Minister of Agriculture Leonid Zayats in the view of Russia’s claims regarding the poor quality of Belarusian dairy products. The Minister also said, his country is ready to demonstrate Russia its dairy production practices. Belorussia doesn’t admit any violations of Common Economic Area legislation.
Leonid Zayats said, Belarus wants to work with Russia and Kazakhstan (within CU) without any limitations or withdrawals. “We want to sell our produce and want to see Russian and Kazakh produce on our food market. We should add each other’s range of products”, - he added.
As previously reported, Russia is initiating an anti-dumping probe in regard to European countries and Belarus in order to protect its dairy market from unfair competition.
