Boris Fishman: the impact of the political situation in Belarus on the Russian dairy market is minimal
The expert added that some influence can be traced - mainly in cheese and butter, which are in excess in Belarus. However, it is difficult to call it significant. Earlier, we wrote that in June, Russia seriously increased the supply of imported whole milk powder, butter and skimmed milk powder.
"Fr om the point of view of the dairy industry, cheese is the only thing that Belarus has in really large quantities. But there are no changes in sales, sales have not been affected, and even if sales fall, it will only mean a boost for Russian manufacturers, who will feel easier", said Boris Fishman. At the same time, according to him, the price of cheeses may actually increase. Nevertheless, here the Republic of Belarus does not occupy such a dominant position in the cheese market that it can have a significant impact on the situation.
As for commodity products – for example, skimmed milk powder), the price for it has already risen and is set at the level of 190-195 rubles/kg. The expert does not predict further growth, and if it happens, it will not be under the influence of the Belarusian party, wh ere milk powder has already been sold.
