Butter supplies have increased by 53.1% - the FCS
Palm oil supplies have increased by 3.6% to 75.4 thousand tons (by $47.7 million).
The imports of citrus have increased by 27.4% to 247.4 thousand tons (by $170.1 million), apples – by 6.5% to 90.8 thousand tons (by $45 million). At the same time, the supply of bananas decreased by 2.1% to 138.5 thousand tons (by $101.8 million).
According to the FCS, imports of coffee grew by 1.6% to 16.1 thousand tons (by $44.8 million), imports of tea decreased by 21.2% to 9.7 thousand tons (by $29.5 million).
Supplies of white sugar have increased by 2.3% to 26.3 thousand tons (by $12.4 million), supplies of raw sugar decreased by 1.2% to 0.3 thousand tons (by $0.2 million).
In January confectionery industry imported 1.2 thousand tons of cocoa beans (at $3.1 million), which is 58% less than in January last year. Imports of cocoa butter have decreased by 26.6% to 2.2 thousand tons (by $13.3 million). Deliveries of products containing cocoa have increased by 41.1% to 10 thousand tons (by $44.3 million).
In addition, in January there were imported alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at $154.1 million, which is 6.7% more than a year ago. Import of tobacco raw materials has decreased by 3.1% to 10.8 thousand tons (by $48.4 million). The cost of imported cigarettes and cigars amounted to $3.7 million, which is 18.2% less than in January last year.
Also, in January this year Russia imported 25.6 thousand tons of meat (excluding poultry meat, at $84.5 million), which is 21.9% less than in January 2018.
Imports of poultry meat have decreased by 11.2% to 13.5 thousand tons (by $23.7 million).
In addition, in January there was imported 32.3 thousand tons of fish (at $91.7 million), which is 18.1% less than a year ago, 0.5 thousand tons (at $0.4 million) of vegetable oil (41.4% less).
