CATD informed about the readiness of Kuban dairy companies to start the third stage of labeling
‘At the third stage, we are launching 24 lines, today 11 lines are operating in test mode constantly. Both the first and the second stage of labeling were worked out with the integrator company - Trekmark. Basically, we label in a typographic way, at the same time we will apply a small number of codes on our own. By December 1, our company will have been ready in full,’ the press service of the CATD quotes the words of Deputy General Director for Food Production of the Agrocomplex named after N.I. Tkachev Yuri Yeibozhenko.
Currently, the equipment necessary for labeling is being installed at the sites of enterprises in the region. ‘Control panels for equipment have come to our site, they are already being installed. We are waiting for thermal transfer printers. All the previous stages have been successful, we will succeed this time,’ said Mikhail Polezhai, Deputy General Director of Korenovsky Dairy and Canning Plant, quoted by the press service.
In turn, Abinsky butter and cheese factory has already fully completed equipping all production lines. ‘Additional quality controlling devices are being made for milk bottling lines in order to increase the speed, by December 1, the whole enterprise will be ready for the start of labeling,’ said Alexander Prudkin, director of Abinsky butter and cheese factiry, quoted by the CATD.
According to the operator, currently in Krasnodar region, the printing house Polyprint is also ready for the beginning of the third stage of labeling dairy products, which has been working with manufacturers since the first stage. ‘For more than 20 years we have been engaged in the production of flexible food packaging, plastic films, including for filling dairy products. We have a successful experience of labeling since the first stage. Thus, we are fully ready for the third,’ the press service of the CATD quotes the words of Commercial Director of the printing house Polyprint Nikolay Lyashko.
Labeling of dairy products began on June 1, 2021 in the categories of cheeses and ice cream, since September 1 it became mandatory for goods with a shelf life of more than 40 days, the requirements to label products with a shelf life of 40 days or less will come into force on December 1.
