CATD: labeling of dairy products in industrial volumes is ready for launch
"Vakinskoe agro", one of the active participants in the experiment on labeling of dairy products, has introduced labeling of milk in plastic bottles in 24/7 mode at its plant in Ryazan region", the report says. According to the press service, operators on the line have passed the necessary training and are ready to work with the labeling system.
The CATD noted that in the near future it is planned to equip new lines of "Vakinsky Agro" with equipment for labeling.
"In the continuation of the experiment on labeling of dairy products, we will bring all types of enterprises - large, medium and small producers - and all types of products to the stage of industrial implementation", the press service of the CATD quotes Alexey Sidorov, the head of the commodity group "Milk".
The experiment on labeling dairy products began in Russia on July 15, 2019 and was scheduled to end on February 29, 2020, but then the completion date was postponed to March 31. The Ministry of industry and trade of the Russian Federation has repeatedly called for its extension. In early April, the Russian government once again extended the experiment on labeling dairy products until December 31, 2020.
