Per-item traceability begins on December 1, 2023 only for products with an expiration date of more than 40 days. This was stated by Director of the product group "Milk" of the Center for Advanced Technologies Development Alexey Sidorov during the fourth section "Labeling of dairy products. Q&A", writes The DairyNews.
He also reminded that when sending products for export independently without the mediation of trading houses and other intermediaries, they do not need to be labeled. Labeling is mandatory only in the case of foreign deliveries through your own or a third-party trading house.
In addition, according to Alexey Sidorov, a new reason for the withdrawal of products from circulation will soon appear - the sale by weight.
