CATD: the support service is working in an enhanced mode for cheese and ice cream producers
Earlier, we wrote that cheesemakers faced the inability to get the ordered labeling codes within a few hours.
The representative of CATD stressed that ‘despite a multiple increase in the number of ordered codes over the past day, the system processes more than 90% of orders in less than 10 minutes. Before the start of mandatory labeling, load testings of the system were carried out, with the participation of, among others, PepsiCo and other large companies. They were successful and showed a high level of system stability. At the moment, already in industrial mode, the system also works stably, orders are processed without delays, there are no queues for documents.’
‘As in any new process, some companies face difficulties, information about this was received from some enterprises in the period from 7.00 to 9.00 Moscow time on June 1. For producers of cheese and ice cream, the support service functions in an enhanced mode, personal managers are designated, targeted work is carried out with enterprises and all their questions are resolved. CATD will continue to promptly provide explanations on all issues, so that the companies will move to full-fledged stable work on their side. Both in other industries and in the dairy industry, the system will constantly work to improve reliability and speed, introduce services to simplify the work of business in the system,’ stressed in press service of the operator.
We remind that the first stage of mandatory labeling of dairy products started on June 1 - for manufacturers of cheeses and ice cream (except for ice and frozen desserts that do not contain a dairy component). The next stages for the dairy industry will start on September 1 and December 1, 2021.
