Construction of seven plants will begin in cheese cluster in Moscow region in July - Minister Razin
"Now the construction of infrastructure is coming to an end: on July 1, I think we will finish it all. By mid-July, we will have started building of seven plants on the territory of the cheese cluster", said A. Razin at the conference "Financial Management in agribusiness" in Moscow.
The Minister added that at least 350 jobs will be created at seven plants planned for construction.
"Thus, the pool of investors of the cheese cluster has already been formed", A. Razin said.
According to him, the number of applications for participation in the cheese cluster exceeded the needs twice.
As reported, it is planned to attract about 2-2.5 billion rubles of investment in the creation of enterprises of the cheese cluster.
It is expected that the plants, reaching the designed capacity, will produce about 20.5 thousand tons of cheese per year.
Currently, 50 thousand tons of cheese is produced in Moscow region per year.
