Consumer prices for butter increased by 0.1% within the week

According to Rosstat, consumer prices for butter increased during the reporting week from 16 to 22 May by 0.1%. In addition, consumer prices for sour cream and sterilized drinking milk also increased by 0.1%, reports The DairyNews.
In general, for the period from 16 to 22 May 2017 the consumer price index according to Rosstat, amounted to 100.0%, since the beginning of May – 100,2%, since the beginning of the year - 101.5% (May, 2016.: overall for the month – 100,4%, since the beginning of the year - 102.9%).
Prices for frozen fish, canned meat, sausages, chocolates, vodka rose by 0.2%. At the same time eggs became cheaper by 2.6%, pork, sunflower oil, sugar, salt, buckwheat and millet – by 0.2-0.7%. The growth of prices for fruit and vegetables on the average made 0.6%, including potatoes, cabbage and carrots – 4.3-5.5%, onions and apples – 2.0%. At the same time, cucumbers and tomatoes fell by 9.7% and 6.3% respectively.
Prices for motor gasoline grew by 0.2%, for diesel fuel – by 0.1%.
