Consumer prices for dairy products in RF grew by 0.1% within a week

Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) continues to record deflation in Russia – from the beginning of August the consumer price index reached 99.9%.
Meanwhile consumer prices for main dairy products (except cheese and pasteurized milk) grew on average by 0.1%.
During the period from 2 to 8 August consumer prices for sour cream, liquid heat-treated milk, butter and cottage cheese with high level of fat content increased by 0.1%. Prices for rennet cheese and liquid pasteurized milk didn’t change during the period under consideration.
During the period from the beginning of the year to August, 8th consumer prices for butter grew on average by 4.3%, for liquid heat-treated milk – by 3.1%, for sour cream – by 2.7%, for cottage cheese with high level of fat content – by 3.4%, for liquid pasteurized milk – by 2%, for soft and hard rennet cheeses – by 3%.
