Coronavirus may negatively affect the export of agricultural products from the Russian Federation - document
"The development of the Russian economy in general and the agro - industrial complex and fisheries in particular may be negatively affected by the development of coronavirus infection, which is a possible prerequisite for reducing exports of agricultural and fisheries products", the document says.
The section that deals with key risks in the areas of agriculture and fisheries also notes the uncertainty that arose in early 2020 due to the spread of coronavirus and the decline in stock prices for agricultural products.
"The coronavirus epidemic has led to problems with the delivery of food products to the People's Republic of China and a general decline in business activity in the world. The cancellation of business events and tenders may negatively affect the dynamics of exports of agricultural products", states the strategy.
