Dairy companies entered the rating of the largest agricultural companies of Russia

"Molvest", "Danone", the management company "Prosto Moloko", "EkoNiva APK-holding" and other producers and milk processors entered the rating of 50 largest agricultural companies of Russia according to the magazine "Expert", according to The DairyNews. The leader of the ranking for the second consecutive year is the company Miratorg with revenue of 96 billion roubles that is by 30% more than last year.
In accordance with evaluation of the analytical center "Expert", the main resource for growth is the expansion through import substitution. The main players of the segment of pork, Miratorg and Cherkizovo, were able to increase its revenue by 30.1% up to 96.3 billion Roubles and by 12.2% up to 77 billion Roubles respectively, taking the 1st and 4th positions in the ranking.
On the 10th place in the ranking, analysts have put the manufacturer of dairy products "Danone Russia". The 14th place was taken by JSC "Firm "Agrocomplex by N.I. Tkachev", which is the largest producer of milk in the country according to 2015. The Holding company "Ak Bars", which owns dairy complexes, took the 19th place in the rating. The large food manufacturer and processor of milk of Udmurt "KOMOS Group" is on the 20th place.
The 22nd place in the rating belongs to the group "Agropromkomplektatsiya" owning dairy assets in Tver region.
The 24th place is occupied by the company "Damate" (turkey production and processing of milk).
JSC "Molvest", the third largest processor of milk in the country, owning dairy cattle-breeding complexes is on the 32rd place.
The 42nd place is taken by "EkoNiva APK-holding", the second largest producer of raw milk in Russia in 2015.
The analysts have given the 44th place to the management company "Prosto moloko", whose enterprises produce and process milk. The 46th place is occupied by Agroholding "Krasnyj Vostok". The 50th line of the rating is given to LLC “Agroindustrial group Dairy product”.
