Dairy complex "Damate", built with the support of Danone, increased milk production
Thus, for the first quarter of this year gross yield at LLC "Tyumenskie dairy farms" amounted to 10.4 thousand tons. The double growth in production is associated not only with the planned increasing of the livestock population at the complex – the average number of dairy cows increased from 1.8 thousand heads in the first quarter of 2018 to 3.6 thousand today, but also with the growth of animal productivity, explained in the company.
The average daily yield in the first quarter was almost 32 liters per milking cow. A year ago at the same time "Damate" produced about 28.7 liters per one milking cow.
100% of the milk sold by the complex is superior quality milk. The total number of cattle on the complex is 7.7 thousand heads now. By the end of 2018, the company produced 32.3 thousand tons of raw milk.

The complex "Damate" is designed to produce more than 42 thousand tons of milk per year. It was built with the participation of the company Danone, which buys the entire volume of raw milk produced by the enterprise. The project was launched in March 2016, in December 2016 they start the delivery of livestock to the farm, and in March 2017 the company received the first milk.
In the autumn of 2018, the group of companies "Damate" made the decision on the expansion of the cattle-breeding complex in Tyumen region. As a result of the project, the number of cows will be increased from 4600 to 6000 heads; the gross volume of milk production will amount to 150 tons per day or 55 thousand tons per year.
