Dairy enterprises will prepare for the second stage of labeling in mid-August
‘The approximate date of our readiness for labeling is August 15, the equipment has been delivered to most of the association's sites, test trials have been started, labeling solutions are being optimized,’ Abdullina said, quoted by the press service of the Center for Advanced Technologies Development (CATD), which is the unified operator of the Honest mark product labeling system. Abdullina is sure that by the second stage, the enterprises ‘will not have any delays and deviations.’ ‘All this time we have been actively working with the CATD, we quickly receive the necessary support and answers to questions that arise in the course of work,’ the representative of the association said.
The press service, in turn, reminded that the labeling of dairy products voluntarily entered into force on January 20, 2021, the labeling of cheeses and ice cream has become mandatory since June 1. ‘Since September 1, the requirements for products with a shelf life of more than 40 days will come into force, and since December 1 - for goods with a shelf life of 40 days or less,’ the press service concluded.
