Dairy Index DIA broke the record
Dairy Index DIA increased by 1.4% compared to last week and by 8.4% compared to the beginning of October 2020. Two key indicators based on which the index is calculated, the weighted average price of raw milk in Russia and the import price of exchange-traded dairy products, also reached peak values.
The weighted average price of raw milk in Russia according to the MILK PRICE INDEX DIA application was 27.2 rubles/kg, 7% higher than the price at the beginning of October 2020. The growth of the indicator is due to the increase in prices for raw milk in Russian regions.
The import price amounted to 37.76 rubles/kg, compared to the beginning of October 2020, the indicator is 10.9% higher. The key factor in the growth of the indicator was the increase in prices for exchange-traded dairy products.
