Dairy Index RDRC decreased by 0.76%

The index of domestic price at the end of last week fell by 0.89% to 24.45 rubles/kg. The price of raw milk demonstrated the reduction in "regions-exporters" and "regions-importers". In the "regions-importers" the average price of milk decreased by 0.04% to 25.91 rubles/kg, in the "regions-exporters" - by 1.69% to 23.22 rubles/kg.

In the key "region-importer" of milk, the Moscow region, the purchase price decreased by 0.1% (-2 kopecks) to 27.33 rubles/kg. In the key "region-exporter" of milk, the Republic of Tatarstan, the sale price fell by 4.2% (-97 kopecks) to 22.19 rubles/kg.




The index of import prices fell by 0.43% to 25.38 rubles/kg. Prices for dairy products at the site of Trigona Dairy Trade show steady growth, however, the price of butter at auction BUCE last week fell by 10.5%. In this regard, the import price of a pair of Skimmed milk powder + Butter declined by 2.08% to 28.77 rubles/kg, the import price of a pair of Cheese + Whey rose by 0.92% to 24.12 rubles/kg.




New Dairy Index RDRC will be published on May 22. 

Dairy Index RDRC is calculated based on two key indicators Index of domestic price and Index of import price. The index of domestic price is calculated on the basis of the average price for raw milk in the "regions-exporters " (of raw milk), which include the Republic of Tatarstan, Novosibirsk, Vologda and Kirov region and in the "regions - importes" - Moscow region, Altai region, Krasnodar region and Bryansk region. The index of import price is based on the stock prices of key dairy products – skimmed milk powder, whole milk powder, butter, cheese and whey powder. Prices of imported dairy products are calculated based on the prices of dairy products of the Belarusian universal commodity exchange (BUCE) and the price at the sites of Trigona Dairy Trade and GlobalDairyTrade.
