Dairy Index RDRC decreased to 23.13 rubles (about 0.31 euro)/kg
According to the application Index RDRC weighted average price of milk in Russia last week increased by 0.05% to 21.88 rubles (about 0.29 euro)/kg, which is 8% lower than the price at the end of October 2017. Last week milk prices rose in some regions, for example, in Kirov region and Perm region.

Last week the import price index decreased by 0.44% to 27.27 rubles (about 0.36 euro)/kg, which is 3.95% lower than at the end of October 2017. The decline of the import price was due to the fall in the price of dairy products. At the auction Trigona Dairy Trade the price of butter decreased, the prices of cheese and whey powder remained at the level of previous trading, the price of skim milk powder, on the contrary, increased. The price of butter, taking into account a stronger ruble, fell by 1.9% to 326.2 rubles (about 4.35 euro)/kg, the price of cheese decreased by 0.77% to 228.7 rubles (about 3.05 euro)/kg, the price of whey powder declined to 55.5 rubles (about 0.74 euro)/kg. The price of skim milk powder increased by 2.43% to 119.98 rubles (about 1.60 euro)/kg.
The import price of a pair of skim milk powder + butter decreased by 0.14% to 28.73 rubles (about o.38 euro)/kg (1 kg in terms of milk). The import price of cheese + whey fell by 0.73% to 25.77 rubles(about 0.34 euro)/kg. The price of whole milk powder remained at the level of 22.88 rubles (about 0.30 euro)/kg.

Dairy Index RDRC
Dairy Index RDRC is calculated based on two key indicators, the weighted average price of milk in the Russian regions and the Index of import price. To calculate the weighted average price, the Center developed and launched a crowdsourcing application Index RDRC, which allows accumulating current data on the prices of raw milk in the Russian regions from direct market participants, producers and processors of milk. The Index of import price is determined based on the prices of key exchange dairy products – skim milk powder, whole milk powder, butter, cheese and whey powder. The prices of imported dairy products are based on the prices of dairy products of the Belarusian universal commodity exchange (BUCE) and the prices at the sites of Trigona Dairy Trade and GlobalDairyTrade.
