Dairy Index RDRC decreased to 23.16, rubles (about 0.29 euros)/kg
According to the application Index RDRC weighted average price of milk in Russia decreased by 0.14% to 21.28 rubles (about 0.26 euros)/ kg, which is 8.47% lower than the price in September 2017.

The import price index last week fell by 0.2% to 29.46 rubles (about 0.37 euros)/kg, which is 1.1% higher than in September 2017. At the auction Trigona Dairy Trade the price of skimmed milk powder increased while the price of butter decreased,the price of cheese and whey remained at the same level, while the ruble on the day of trading slightly strengthened compared to last week. The price of butter taking into account the exchange rate of the ruble declined by 2.23% to 420,65 rubles
(about 5.21 euros)/kg, the price of cheese decreased by 0.39% to 269,85 rubles (about 3,35 euros)/kg. The Price of skimmed milk powder has grown by 2.73% to 130,96 rubles (about 1,62 euros)/kg, the price of whey powder went down by 0.39% to 62.3 rubles (about 0.77 euros)/kg.
The price index for GDT dairy products continues to decline. At the 219th trading of GDT (Global Dairy Trade) of September 4, 2018, the index fell by 0.7%, the price of butter and whole milk powder continued to fall. The price of whole milk powder in rubles amounted to 191,11 rubles (about 2.37 euros)/kg.
The import price of a pair of skimmed milk powder + butter has decreased by 0.03% to 29.11 rubles (about 0.36 euros)/ kg (1 kg in terms of milk). The import price of a pair of cheese + whey has decreased by 0.37% to 29.85 rubles (about o.37 euros)/kg. The price of whole milk powder fell by 1.36% to 22.48 rubles (about 0.28 euros)/kg.
The new value of Dairy Index RDRC will be published on September 17, 2018.
Dairy Index RDRC
Dairy Index RDRC is calculated based on two key indicators, the weighted average price of milk in the Russian regions and the Index of import price. To calculate the weighted average price, the Center developed and launched a crowdsourcing application Index RDRC, which allows accumulating current data on the prices of raw milk in the Russian regions from direct market participants, producers and processors of milk. The Index of import price is determined based on the prices of key exchange dairy products – skimmed milk powder, whole milk powder, butter, cheese and whey powder. The prices of imported dairy products are based on the prices of dairy products of the Belarusian universal commodity exchange (BUCE) and the prices at the sites of Trigona Dairy Trade and GlobalDairyTrade.
