Dairy Index RDRC fell by 1.17%

The price of milk in the "regions-exporters" last week fell by 1.63% to 21.14 rubles/kg. The reduction of price in the "regions-importers" made 1.31%, the price fell to 24.82 rubles/kg.  The average price in the “regions-importers” and “regions-exporters” was equal to 22.79 rubles/kg, 1.43% lower than on July 10.


 

The index of import price last week showed a slight decrease of 0.47% to 29.64 rubles/kg. The decline was due to falling prices for skimmed milk powder at auction BUCE and Trigona Dairy Trade and due to a small decline in the price for butter at auction BUCE. 


At auction BUCE price for skimmed milk powder fell by 4.64%, at Trigona Dairy Trade auction - by 2.63%.


 


The price for butter at auction BUCE decreased by 0.67% to 340 rubles/kg, while at Trigona Dairy Trade the price for butter, calculated in rubles continued to grow, the growth was 0.63%.

 


In this regard, the import price of a pair Skimmed milk powder + Butter fell by 2% to 33.23 rubles/kg (1 kg in recalculation on milk). The import price of a pair Cheese + Whey increased by 0.69% to 29.29 rubles/kg.


 
New Dairy Index RDRC will be published on July 24. 

Dairy Index RDRC is calculated based on two key indicators, Index of domestic price and Index of import price. The index of domestic price is calculated on the basis of the average price for raw milk in the "regions-exporters " (of raw milk), which include the Republic of Tatarstan, Novosibirsk, Vologda and Kirov regions and in the "regions - importers" - Moscow region, Altai region, Krasnodar region and Bryansk region. The index of import price is based on the stock prices of key dairy products – skimmed milk powder, whole milk powder, butter, cheese and whey powder. Prices of imported dairy products are calculated based on the prices of dairy products of the Belarusian universal commodity exchange (BUCE) and the price at the sites of Trigona Dairy Trade and GlobalDairyTrade.
