Dairy Index RDRC has increased to 23.20 rubles/kg
According to the application Index RDRC weighted average price of milk in Russia remained at 21.31 rubles (about 0.27 Euro)/ kg, which is 7.39% lower than the price in early September 2017.

Last week the index of import price increased by 0.03% to 29.52 rubles (about 0.38 Euro)/kg, this is 0.14% higher than in September 2017. At the auction Trigona Dairy Trade prices for butter, skimmed milk powder and whey powder decreased, the price of cheese remained at the level of previous trades, but the depreciation of the ruble on the day of trading was again a factor for the growth of the Index of import price. The price of butter taking into account the rate of the ruble fell by 1.3% to 430.25 rubles (about 5.47 Euro)/kg, the price of cheese rose by 0.54% to 270.9 rubles (about 3.44 Euro)/kg. The price of skimmed milk powder decreased by 2.5% to 127.48 rubles (about 1,62 Euro)/kg, the price of whey powder fell by 4.9% to 62.55 rubles (about 0.80 Euro)/kg.
The import price of a pair of skimmed milk powder + butter decreased by 0.27% to 29.12 rubles (about 0.37 Euro)/ kg (1 kg in terms of milk). The import price of a pair of cheese + whey increased by 0.33 percent to 29.96 rubles (about 0.38 Euro)/kg. The price of whole milk powder remained at the level of 22.79 rubles (about 0.29 Euro)/kg.
The new value of Dairy Index RDRC will be published on September 10, 2018.
Dairy Index RDRC
Dairy Index RDRC is calculated based on two key indicators, the weighted average price of milk in the Russian regions and the Index of import price. To calculate the weighted average price, the Center developed and launched a crowdsourcing application Index RDRC, which allows accumulating current data on the prices of raw milk in the Russian regions from direct market participants, producers and processors of milk. The Index of import price is determined based on the prices of key exchange dairy products – skimmed milk powder, whole milk powder, butter, cheese and whey powder. The prices of imported dairy products are based on the prices of dairy products of the Belarusian universal commodity exchange (BUCE) and the prices at the sites of Trigona Dairy Trade and GlobalDairyTrade.
