Dairy Index RDRC rose by 0.52%

The price of milk in the "regions-exporters" continues to decline, last week the price fell by 0.28% to 21.69 rubles/kg. In the "regions-importers" the price of milk is kept at 25.4 rubles/kg. The average price in "regions-importers and regions-exporters" amounted to 23.35 rubles /kg, 0.13% lower than last week.



Prices for butter and cheese continue to grow and stimulate the growth of the Index of import price. The average price of butter at auction BUCE rose just by 0.13% last week, to 335.61 rubles/kg, but the price of butter according to Trigona Dairy Trade increased by 6.16% to 419.68 rubles/kg, taking into account changes of the ruble exchange rate.



The price of cheese continued to grow, at the auction Trigona Dairy Trade the price increased by 4.46% to 258.53 rubles/kg. At the auction BUCE the price of cheese increased slightly, only by 0.05% to 287.65 rubles/kg.



In this regard, a pair of Skimmed milk powder + Butter rose in price by 0.95% to 33.97 rubles/kg (1 kg in recalculation on milk). The import price of a pair of Cheese + Whey increased by 4.03% to 28.66 rubles/kg.

The index of import price has increased by 2.1% to 29.61 rubles/kg.



The Dairy Index RDRC will be published on 3 July.

Dairy Index RDRC is calculated based on two key indicators, Index of domestic price and Index of import price. The index of domestic price is calculated on the basis of the average price for raw milk in the "regions-exporters " (of raw milk), which include the Republic of Tatarstan, Novosibirsk, Vologda and Kirov regions and in the "regions - importers" - Moscow region, Altai region, Krasnodar region and Bryansk region. The index of import price is based on the stock prices of key dairy products – skimmed milk powder, whole milk powder, butter, cheese and whey powder. Prices of imported dairy products are calculated based on the prices of dairy products of the Belarusian universal commodity exchange (BUCE) and the price at the sites of Trigona Dairy Trade and GlobalDairyTrade.
