In 2017, the annual Motor Rally "Way to milk!" was held in the Altai Krai, the Altai Republic and Novosibirsk region. Participants of the Motor Rally visited the Kamenskiy cheese and butter plant, Barnaul dairy plant, the plant "Rikon", Ust-Kalmanskiy dairy plant, Rubtsovskiy dairy plant "Wimm-Bill-Dann", "Breeding factory "Irmen", LLC "Sibirskaya Niva", Agrofirm "Urozhay", LLC "Altaiskaya Burenka", International College of cheesemaking. Traditionally, the Motor Rally was characterized by a unique and cheerful friendly atmosphere, many crews, according to participants, were "Motor Rally" family.

"This year the Motor Rally was attended by the regions, which were at the event for the first time: Kirov region, Zabaykalsky Krai, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Tyumen region. The participants from the Novosibirsk region and the Altai Kraia also took part in the Motor Rally.

The participants carefully studied the technology of production and processing of milk. The representatives of the dairy industry from Samara region have 17 items in the list of seen ideas! The goal of the event - exchange of experience – has been realized!", - emphasizes the chief editor of The DairyNews Vera Mozgovaya.
"It is very important for us to share experiences. And welcoming guests is another jolt for the enterprise. Sometimes it is also necessary to worry, to be prepared", - said Alexey Krysanov, Director of LLC "Ust-Kalmanskiy butter and cheese factory", the company that took part in the Motor Rally in 2017.

Novosibirsk region and the Altai Krai are a unique regions on the map of Russia, including Dairy map.
The volume of milk production at agricultural enterprises and farm holdings of Novosibirsk region in 2016 amounted to 516600 tons, 21.53% of the volume of raw milk produced in the Siberian Federal district. The current indicator of milk production is by 62.7% below the level of 1987, when the region produced 1.4 million tons of milk.

"We visited enterprises that work honestly, as we do, I liked it. We also produce a pure, natural product. We wanted to make sure that colleagues from other regions are working honestly. We remember the most Barnaul dairy plant - there's a great automation of the second level, operators manage the process, human errors are reduced to zero", - says Alexey Kasyanov, chief engineer of JSC "Moloko" (Krasnoyarsk Krai).

Altai Krai is one of the most developed agrarian regions of Russia, the largest grain producer in the country and one of the leaders in milk production. Altai Krai remains the surplus region from the point of view of self-sufficiency in milk, in 2016, the surplus of milk amounted to 425.5 thousand tons. Altai companies deliver their cheeses not only to Russian regions, but also abroad, in 2016, from Altai Krai there were exported 927.5 tons of cheese and cottage cheese. In Altai Krai according to data of 2016, there are 641 producers of milk, including 242 agricultural enterprises and 399 farm holdings. The average farm size in region - 263 cows: 89 cows in a farm holding and 552 cows in an agricultural enterprise.

On average, one Altai cow feed 14 people. There are 1.01 cows per 1 km2 of the territory.

"In the course of the Motor Rally we in our team noted 17 important points for ourselves, we carefully analyzed all the enterprises, arranged the meetings during the trip. We will discuss everything again; analyze, where, what and how, maybe something will be developed at our company," notes the manager of the dairy complex "Radna" Gregory Lyapin.

"I don't regret that I came here! I liked everything very much. We have a specific region Zabaykalsky Krai. It was very interesting to see how enterprises operate in Altai Krai and Novosibirsk region", - says Vladimir Yunusov, General Director of "Krasnokamenskiy dairy plant" (Zabaykalsky Krai).
