Dairy plant “Stavropolsky" postponed the project of construction of a robotic farm, but did not give up the idea

It was expected that the farm will supply about 120 tons of milk to the plant.

"Our project consisted of three parts - the barn itself, the feed center and the biogas plant. The complex for 4 thousand milking cows had to provide 400 tons of manure daily – so we intended to pay it back with the construction of biogas plant. According to our calculations, only due to biogas and mineral fertilizers we could pay back the project in five years", said Sergey Anisimov.

"Unfortunately, now we have everything except project financing. We were offered loans, but even under the condition of concessional lending, if we get involved into the project today, and tomorrow concessional lending is canceled, we will lose the entire plant", said the head of the enterprise. 

We will remind, the implementation of the project of a large mega-complex was first reported in 2012.

According to the Russian Dairy Research Center, in 2018 the dairy plant "Stavropolsky" processed 70 155 tons of milk. The product line of the enterprise includes more than 500 items.
