DairyIndex RDRC has decreased to 22.73 rubles/kg
According to the application Index RDRC weighted average price of milk in Russia amounted to 21.30 rubles / kg, which is 0.65% lower than the price at the beginning of last week and 6.82% lower than the price in August 2017.

The import price index last week fell by 0.30% to 27.62 rubles/kg, which is 7.96% lower than in August 2017. A key factor in the decline in the Index of import price was the strengthening of the ruble. At the Trigona Dairy Trade, the prices of all key exchange stock dairy products remained at the same level. The price of butter taking into account the rate of the ruble fell by 0.54% to 392.8 rubles/kg, the price of cheese fell to 242.3 rubles/kg. The price of skimmed milk powder decreased to 107.93 rubles/kg, the price of whey powder decreased to 51.39 rubles/kg.
In this regard, the import price of a pair of skimmed milk powder + butter decreased by 0.1% to 28.55 rubles/kg (1 kg in terms of milk). The import price of a pair of cheese + whey decreased by 0.59% to 26.92 rubles / kg. The price of whole milk powder remained at the level of 22.94 rubles/kg.

Dairy Index RDRC
Dairy Index RDRC is calculated based on two key indicators, the weighted average price of milk in the Russian regions and the Index of import price. To calculate the weighted average price, the Center developed and launched a crowdsourcing application Index RDRC, which allows accumulating current data on the prices of raw milk in the Russian regions from direct market participants, producers and processors of milk. The Index of import price is determined based on the prices of key exchange dairy products – skimmed milk powder, whole milk powder, butter, cheese and whey powder. The prices of imported dairy products are based on the prices of dairy products of the Belarusian universal commodity exchange (BUCE) and the prices at the sites of Trigona Dairy Trade and GlobalDairyTrade.
