Damate is ready to replace a part of embargoed import
Damate is ready to increase the volumes of milk processing and to replace a part of embargoed import. Its division MolochnyKombinatPenzensky (Molkom) within the shortest possible time is ready to increase production of traditional curd to 10 tons per day (3.6 thousand tons per year), soft curd – to 10 tons per day (3.6 thousand tons per year), butter – to 8 tons per day (2.9 thousand tons per year), fermented milk products – to 150 tons per day (54 thousand tons per year)
Currently Molkom processes up to 200 tons of milk per day and is ready to increase this volume to 700 tons. The company has invested around 800 mln rubles into reconstruction of its sites and capacity increase. Though, according to NaumBabaev, Damate's founder and board chairman, Russian retailers do not show interest in Damate’s products at the moment.
