The Group of Companies Danone in Russia, part of an international company with headquarters in Paris, has almost no dependency on imported raw materials and purchases 90% of raw milk and other components in Russia. This is according to Danone in Russia representative Marina Balabanova. She added, that the company imports only some ingredients from abroad – primary exotic fruit – which are not produced within Russia. The company also doesn’t import ready-to-eat products.
