Danone: the statements of the Rosselkhoznadzor about antibiotics in the company's products are not true
A statement of the Rosselkhoznadzor about the discovery of traces of tetracycline antibiotics in our products does not correspond to reality, - said Marina Balabanova, Vice President on corporate relations of the Group of companies Danone in Russia and the CIS (quoted by the portal "Soyuzmoloko" Milknews)
According to Ms. Balabanova, as soon as Danone received information from the Rosselkhoznadzor about the non-compliance detected by them, the control samples of this batch of products were sent to two independent accredited laboratories, one of which is the laboratory of Rospotrebnadzor.
It has to be reminded that earlier the Rosselkhoznadzor announced the introduction of restrictions on the supply of products of 25 enterprises of dairy and meat industries.
